Dr. Su

Dr. Su is a native of Taiwan. While in high school, she became an exchange student in the US. The original one-year program led to further pursuit in education. She graduated with Bachelor of Science from University of Montevallo and earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from University of Alabama at Birmingham. After nine years in Alabama, Dr. Su moved to Texas for the highly-competitive residency program at University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. The residency training well-prepared Dr. Su for sedation, implant placements and restorations, and bone grafting procedures.

Dr. Su was initially drawn to dentistry for the ability to serve and build relationship with each patient, whether it is through easing anxiety, restoring chewing function, eliminating pain, or creating beautiful smile. Dr. Su understands that each patient is unique so she tailors treatment to meet individual needs and expectations

Compassionate and kind, Dr. Su is committed to provide the best patient experience. Her favorite moment in dentistry is when patient says “I didn’t feel that shot!” Dr. Su is also an advocate for service through providing dental care. She volunteered locally at Cahaba Valley Health Care and internationally on mission trips to Dominican Republic, Guatemala, and Honduras.

When not in the dental office, Dr. Su enjoys travelling, swimming, cooking, spending time with family, and exploring Texas. She has now made San Antonio her home and is very excited to serve the Castroville community!
